Bridgeport Steel garage doors blend the classic symmetry of wood stile and rail designs with the robust durability of Clopay’s steel construction. This combination offers exceptional strength, energy efficiency, and quiet operation. They come with a limited lifetime warranty on the paint system, a 10-year warranty on windows, and a three-year warranty on hardware.

Customization
Choose from wide or narrow panel designs with optional insulation and windows.Available in 16 standard colors, including Ultra-Grain wood-look and Lustra matte finishes, with ColorBlast® custom paint options in 1,500 shades.

Insulation
Options include 2” or 1-3/8” Intellicore® polyurethane or 1-5/16” vinyl-backed polystyrene.Insulated doors offer R-values ranging from 6.3 to 18.4.

Construction

Bridgeport Steel Garage Doors Construction Options Available in 3-, 2-, or 1-layer construction. Insulation Features Intellicore® polyurethane or polystyrene insulation. Intellicore® Insulation: A proprietary polyurethane foam injected into the door, expanding to fill the entire structure for superior strength, energy efficiency, and durability. Additional Features Rust-Prevention System: Steel skins are protected with a multi-layer coating system, including hot-dipped galvanizing, a protective metal oxide pretreatment, followed by a baked-on primer and top coat. Weather Seal: Replaceable vinyl bottom weather seal in a rust-resistant aluminum retainer helps keep out air and water. Safety: Patented Safe-T-Bracket® prevents serious injury by preventing the removal of the bottom bracket when the door is closed and under tension. Hardware: All Intellicore® insulated doors come standard with 10-ball nylon rollers and heavy-duty 14-gauge steel hinges. Air Infiltration: Complies with the 2015 IECC air infiltration requirement of 0.40 cfm/ft² or less (IECC, Section C402.5.2). Window Grilles: Removable for easy cleaning.
